Four new batting leg guards are included in the 2006 range.
The Elite Pro X-Lite has been uniquely designed by Slazenger’s research and development technicians to offer superior protection levels. The guards have Aramid/Glassfibre Protection Rods, an Impact Protection Socket (IPS) which isolates the knee, and a braided knee roll of Slaz Tech fibres which increase knee protection and gives a unique look.
The Elite Pro-Lite has premium grade cane protection rods which generate increased energy dispersion and protection. An internal contoured knee roll increases knee protection and comfort whilst a strategically stitched external knee roll maximises knee flex, mobility and aids comfort.
Slazenger’s unique Air Flow System is present on the Elite Pro X-Lite and the Elite Pro-Lite leg guards allowing for the transfer of air around the pad keeping the player cool in the most extreme conditions.
The Pro-Lite and Academy Test leg guards have premium grade cane protection rods, shin and knee bolster bars and angled knee roll. The Academy Test is an ambidextrous guard making it suitable for left and right handed batsman.
